The i.roc® Ci70 -Ex Class 1 DIV 1 is a flexible, modular mobile computer that is globally certified to class 1 division 1 handheld standards (as well as classes 2 and 3). Specifically designed to perform in tight spaces with exposure to explosive gases, this PDA is perfectly suited for use in construction, industrial manufacturing, or deep underground in mining operations. Keep in touch with coworkers or report to management with a WLAN standard, wide-area network and long-range Bluetooth operating channels for effortless wireless communication. The i.roc® Ci70 -Ex includes a typical QWERTY keypad as well as a numeric keypad with large function keys that can be pressed even with thick, protective work gloves. Sensors measure available light to adjust the screen’s backlight, so that readability is guaranteed even in low-visibility conditions. The self-focusing 2D barcode imaging lens with automatic read correction enables barcode scanning even through thick safety glass and near metals, and the space-saving, ergonomic design includes removable modular heads so each machine can be configured to your exact needs.
Our hazard-safe PDA runs on a multicore OMAP 1GHz processor and boasts a brilliant, yet hardy display protected by Gorilla® Glass. Jointly developed with Paragon partner Intermec, the i.roc® Ci70 -Ex is wear-resistant for long-lasting power. Unlike more delicate consumer handhelds, this class 1 division 1 handheld can operate in harsh environments with temperatures ranging from -20°C to more than 50°C. Even in wet, cold, or scorching heat, your intrinsically safe device will raise your standards of hardware function.
